Obituary of Roberta E Paulmeno
Roberta Evelyn Paulmeno, 88, died at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, May 19, 2023. Born in Rahway to the late Clarence and Grace M. (Rand) Brunt, Roberta lived in Edison until 1962, then South Plainfield and became a Middlesex resident in 1964.
Roberta graduated Metuchen High School in 1953 and then entered the work force, first as an Office Administrator for NJ Bell Telephone, was a school-aide from 1974-1979 for Pierce School of Middlesex Borough and Roberta retired in 1998 from Moppet Daycare/Alphabet Kidz School in Middlesex where she was a preschool teacher.
She was a former member of the Bound Brook Presbyterian Church and in her spare time, she loved to garden and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Lois Stasse formerly of East Brunswick, Roberta leaves behind her husband John F. with whom she married in 1962, and their children; John A. and his wife Dawn of Pittstown, Lois Baker and her husband Daniel of Annandale and Scott Paulmeno of Manville. She will be missed dearly by her grandchildren John M. Paulmeno (fiancé Ashley Teets) of Fanwood, Kaitlyn Paulmeno of Pittstown and Hannah Baker of Boonton, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 5pm until 8pm at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854. A concluding prayer service will begin at 7:30pm and burial at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA will be held in the near future.
