Age: 33 * South Plainfield

South Plainfield, NJ – Thomas H. Barney, 33, died suddenly at his home in South Plainfield on August 6, 2023.  Born in New Brunswick, Tom was a lifelong resident of South Plainfield and was a 2008 High School Graduate.

He worked for several years in landscaping but most recently worked in Valet for East Coast Parking, currently working with the Ryland Inn.  Tom was extremely easy going and when times were tough; he always kept a positive attitude and his head up high.  He had a profound love for his mom, dad and two daughters.

Tom leaves behind his loving family; daughters Olivia and Lillian, mother Elaine Barney with whom he lived with, father Thomas H. Barney, Sr. and many extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.  Cremation services will be held privately following the viewing.
