Dear Jane, Jimmy and Tom,
We are so very sorry to hear about the passing of your sister, Ann.
We were lucky to re-connect with her at my mother's wake in July 22.
Seeing and talking with Ann brought back so many great memories of our families and youth.
To say you will miss her is an understatement. Heaven has gained a very special caring soul.
Sincerely,
The Maslak Family

Ann was a wonderful friend to my sister Nancy for as long as I can remember. Many years ago Ann brought some of her infamous rum balls to one of our family holiday gatherings. They were delicious and my husband, Joe, was especially crazy for them. After that, any time Ann brought her rum balls, she would say they are , " just for Joe." Each holiday season since then, Joe still talks about those great rum balls Ann made for him. We will all always remember Ann fondly.

Annie and I worked side by side over 15 years running the Hudson County Central Labor Council AFL-CIO Edward Pulver/Donna Benjamin memorial scholarship breakfast where we gave over $200,000 to the children of our affiliated parents to help defray the costs of college education. She was a woman of conviction of what is right and wrong and she expressed her opinion on every occasion she felt these inherent rights were violated. Working people lost an ally I and our organization Mourns her family’s loss. May she Rest In Peace
In love,

I'm so sorry to hear of Ann's passing, I'm sadly out of touch and wasn't aware she was ill. My sympathies to Jane, Tom and Jim and the rest of her family. I remember Ann best when I was about 15, Jane must have been 16, and Ann of course a few years older. I can see Ann walking down Barone AVenue headed somewhere and Jane and I seeing her a block away and yelling back and forth at each other as sisters do at that age. She was strong and feisty back then, and it seems she carried it through her life to make change and work for equality through her union work. Rest in Peace and God Bless. Debbie Emerick

My oldest sister (liberal Chief Shop Steward) and I (Sr. HR Manager) would debate politics and labor relations ad nauseam to the point where my wife Linda asked me one Thanksgiving morning not to bring up labor relations as we were on our way to Thanksgiving dinner at Mom’s. As we (read me) matured, we connected through our faith in God, which led to some great conversations all things Catholic.
I was so blessed to be there to see you off to your journey to Heaven.
Rest in peace Ann Frances!
With all my love,
Jimmy

Dear Tommy,Jane and Jim
We are so sorry for your loss
When we heard, first thing that came to my mind was Anne’s laugh
That is how I remember Anne
Not sure if it was because of the NJ accent or not but truly remember her laugh
Anne is now back with your parents and most likely making everyone laugh
RIP Anne

Ann was the real deal , a tough but fair delegate. She had more spine the most of the men she represented! You knew where she stood and why, and you also knew she had your back. Her leadership and service to Ibew has been missed but she was such a force it won’t be forgotten.
