Obituary of Kenneth D. Perrotte

Kenneth D. Perrotte, 70, passed away on February 4, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.  Born in Grenada, West Indies, his mother brought him to the United States when he was twelve. He lived in Queens and Brooklyn, NY and Elizabeth, NJ prior to he and his wife settling in Piscataway in 1999.

 

He worked as a Registered Nurse and eventually retired as Director of Operations at Rockland Children’s Psychiatric Center in Orangeburg, New York.  Ken’s passion when he wasn’t with his family was playing Tennis, where he played almost every day.    Ken loved sports and the news and could when his kids were younger; he always brought them to games, whether it was Baseball or Basketball.

 

Predeceased by his parents Donald Thomas Perrotte and Geraldine Perrotte Preudhomme and his son Kristian Perrotte, he leaves behind his wife Virginia (Matos) Perrotte, son Manuel and his fiancée Shannon Emmanuel and their son Liam Emmanuel Perrotte and daughter Heather Holley and her husband James.  He will be missed by his sisters; Sandra, Marcia and Fay, all of NY.

 

Visitation will be held at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854 on Monday, February 12, 2024 beginning 1:00pm.   Concluding prayers will be held at 2:45pm and Ken will be laid to rest at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway privately. 

 

All those wishing to attend Ken’s services are asked to please wear a mask.
