Florida – Tracy L. Jeffress, 62, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

 

Born in Plainfield, Tracy grew up in Garwood and resided in Lambertville, Metuchen, and Edison, NJ. Recently, Tracy retired to Port St. Lucie, Florida.

 

A graduate of Rutgers University, where she attended the Douglas College Campus, Tracy received her Bachelor’s Degree. She continued her education receiving a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from Kean University. After her schooling, Tracy worked as a speech pathologist for 37 years, retiring from the South Plainfield School District.

 

She enjoyed day trips to the beach, traveling the country, and watching her shows, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.  

 

Predeceased by her mother, Naomi Lawrence and sister, Sherry Lawrence; surviving are her husband, Mucarl Jeffress of Port St. Lucie, FL; three children, Benjamin Zolnowski of Fords, NJ, Cassandra Jones and husband Ty of North Brunswick, NJ and Olivia Kiefer and husband Beau of Toms River and her daughter in law, Zakeyna LaSure.

 

She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Zyaad “Pop Pop” Jeffress, Abigail Kiefer and Matthew Kiefer along with her beloved dogs, Lucy and Diva.

 

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 2-4PM in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080.  M memorial service will begin at 3:45PM.
