Obituary of Barbara A. Pitcher
Piscataway – Barbara Ann (Yunker) Pitcher, 58, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 30, 2024. Born in Perth Amboy to Barbara Borquist and the late George Yunker, Barbara lived in Edison prior to settling in Piscataway in 1993.
She worked as an Administrative Secretary for the Edison Board of Education. Barbara loved flowers and she enjoyed being in her garden. She enjoyed baking but above all things, she would never miss the opportunity to be with her children and grandchildren.
Predeceased by her father George, Barbara leaves behind her family; husband Joseph, daughters; Georgette Pagliocca and her husband AJ of Bordentown and Kathleen Pitcher and her fiancé Albert David of Edison, sons; Joseph Pitcher, II and Cody Pitcher and his partner Lauren Velez all of Piscataway. She will be missed by her mother Barbara, grandchildren; Audrey and Austin Pitcher, sister Georganne and her husband Dominick of North Brunswick, niece Stephanie and fiancé Ryan and nephew Frank and his partner Paula as well as all of her extended family and friends.
Visitation will be at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854 on Saturday, April 6, 2024 beginning 9am with a concluding prayer service and reflections at 12:30pm. At the request of the family, cremation will be held private.
Although flowers are accepted, memorial donations in Barbara’s name sent to the family would be appreciated. For those attending services, instead of being inconvenienced and having to dress up, Barbara would like you to dress casual; come as you are, and who you are.
