Piscataway, NJ – Jozef A. Gorka, 76, died on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville.  Born in Pstragowa, Poland to the late Stanislaw and Jadwiga (Dronka) Gorka, Jozef spent most of his life in Poland prior to immigrating to the US in 1994.  He spent the last thirty years of his life in Piscataway.

He worked as a Paramedic in Poland and before retirement, he had an assortment of jobs here and there to keep him busy.  Jozef also liked gardening and had a love for flowers.  He enjoyed every minute of his grandchildren, loved animals (especially Saint Bernards) and you could always count on him for a good laugh.

Predeceased by his two siblings, Jozef leaves behind his loving wife Stanislawa, children; Piotr Gorka (Edyta) of Hillsborough, Pawel Gorka of Piscataway and Daniel Gorka (Urszula) also of Piscataway.  He will be missed dearly by his five grandchildren; Angelika, Nicole, Patrick, Olivia and Eric.
