Obituary of Carol C. Natarelli
Carol Cleveland Natarelli, aged 87, passed peacefully at her home in Piscataway, NJ the night of Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
Born in the Bronx, Carol also lived in River Edge, NJ, Missouri, Maryland, and Mississippi, before settling in Piscataway in 1973 with her husband, Gerard Eugene Natarelli Jr., and two children, Margaret Carol Natarelli and William Gerard Natarelli.
Carol attended St. Luke’s Nursing School in New York, and in addition to her nearly 40 years of nursing and serving the St. Luke’s Alumni Association, was involved in numerous charitable organizations and activities. She was a member of the Piscataway High School Band Parent’s Association, where she was affectionately known as Nurse Nat; the Metlar-Bodine House Museum; Piscataway Historical & Heritage Society; Raritan-Millstone Alliance. Carol was also instrumental in projects around the town she called home, such as co-chairing the Piscataway Bikeway Commission and was instrumental in the PEPO project – Piscataway Environmental Protection Organization. In addition, Carol was a devoted supporter to both the Piscataway Public Libraries and the George Street Playhouse.
Predeceased by her husband Gerard, Carol is survived by her children Margaret and William, his wife Linda Esposito; her foster daughter Mary Anne Jackson; her siblings Margery Cleveland, Marilyn Cleveland and her husband Jim Uleman, and William “Rusty” Cleveland and his wife Julie; her grandchildren Catherine C. Natarelli, Jeffrey G. Donovin, Gerard W. Natarelli and his fiancé Alyssa Germinario, Jasmine J. Natarelli; and her great-granddaughter Adeline T. Arnold; her numerous relatives and dear friends.
A Memorial Gathering for friends and relatives will be held on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024 from 12PM to 4PM at the Christ United Methodist Church on Hoes Lane in Piscataway, NJ.
