Obituary of Marie Latzko

Marie Latzko, 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at her home in Piscataway.

Born and raised in Plainfield, NJ to the late Palmerino and Philomena DiLello, Marie was a long time resident of Piscataway, settling in town in 1963. She went on to attend beauty school, but later chose raising her family was how she wanted to spend her days. She cherished the time she was able to spend with her children and, later, grandchildren.

Marie was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin in Middlesex, NJ, enjoyed music and movies, and could often be found playing bingo.

Predeceased by her husband, Arthur Latzko, Sr.; sister, Sadie Krizan, and son-in-law, William Judge, Jr., Marie will be missed by her children, Arthur Latzko and his wife Sherri, Denise Judge, Debra Latzko, and Karen Latzko and her husband Richard Kawaleski. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Devon Judge and her husband Jayson Vazquez, Shayne Judge, Alan Ens, Arthur Latzko, Jr. and his wife Karina, Shannon Ens, and Sara Lampe; and brother, Henry DiLello and his wife Bernice, along with a host of extended relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held at the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ, on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 6 PM to 9 PM.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 10:30 AM. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home beginning at 10 AM.

Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, 1401 Woodland Avenue, Scotch Plains, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the Latzko Family has asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or The Wounded Warrior Project, in Marie’s name.
