Washington Granizo, 62, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

Born and raised in Ecuador, Washington was residing in Middlesex. Washington was a devout man of faith, loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved life and his family most of all. His favorite hobbies were watching sports, especially soccer. Washington’s optimism and perseverance inspired everyone around him. He was a true inspiration to all and will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia Mayorga; daughters, Maria Granizo and Stacey Granizo; grandkids, Adrian and Alanna Pena.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 4:30pm – 8:30pm in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home for Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 10:30am at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin, Middlesex, NJ 08846.

Immediately following mass, Washington will be laid to rest at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway, NJ 08854.
