Marion Swiatek, 95, passed away early Monday morning, October 14, 2024 at Mira Vie in Fanwood.

Marion was born in Charleroi, PA to Sam and Bessie Battaglini, and was raised in Fallowfield Township, PA.  She married Peter Swiatek of Donora, PA and the couple settled in South Plainfield, NJ.  She was a longtime and faithful communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time at the South Plainfield Senior Citizen Center and traveling to Atlantic City with friends.  Above all, Marion enjoyed time spent with her family.

Marion was predeceased by her husband and her sister, Gloria Venanzi.  Surviving are her two children, Mary Ann Swiatek and Ed Swiatek, Ed’s wife Natalie, and three grandchildren: Miles and Caden Swiatek and Alex Robertson.

Family and friends may attend the visitation on Friday, October 18 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080, funeral services will begin at 7:30PM.

Entombment services will take place in Monongahela, PA under the direction of Frye Funeral Home.
