Metuchen, NJ - Co Luong, 86, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Quang Dong, China to the late Ngu and Nhi (Tran) Luong, Co was sponsored to come to the United States in 1990 by his son Vinh and his family, current owners of Haisch's Bakery in South Plainfield.
He worked as a machine operator for the family business in Vietnam.
Predeceased by his wife Muoi Duong Luong, Co leaves behind his children; Muoi Luong and her husband Thomas, Quyen Le Luong, Vinh Q Luong and his wife Trudy, Thanh Q. Luong, Christina Le Luong and Douglas Luong. Co will be missed by his three grandchildren; Timothy M., Kelley K. and Shelly K. Luong.
Visitation will be in McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 5-7pm and on Monday, March 5, 2018 beginning 10:00 am.
Prior to burial at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains, it is the wishes of the family to pass by Co's residence in Metuchen.
