Obituary of Virginia Huber

Virginia Huber nee Moore, 82, of South Plainfield, passed away on May 1, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Edison surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late William Patrick and Grace Moore (nee Keany), she was a former resident of Saratoga, NY, and settled in South Plainfield fifty years ago. Mrs. Huber was a certified medical assistant with Dr. Rudnitzky & Shugar in Edison for over 15 years. Virginia was a member of the Red Hat Society with her sister and enjoyed bird watching in her back yard. She had a talent for doing crafts and especially enjoyed making things for those she loved. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother who adored her family and the quality time spent together. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Robert Huber, her dear siblings William Moore, Harry Moore, and Peg Harrington, and by her son Robert W. Huber. Surviving are her loving daughter, Michelle Bennet and husband Robert, her cherished grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Don, Christopher and wife Janice, Joshua and wife Ashley, Timothy and fiancé Caitlin, and Shaynon, her adored great-grandchildren Kali, Gabriella, Emma, Miley, Kendall, Colette, Evan, Brayden, and Chloe, her dear sister Mary Smith and brother in law John Harrington, as well as her extended family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to gather for visitation on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00PM and 5:00 to 7:00 at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield. A prayer service will be held at 6:30pm at the funeral home.
