Obituary of Elvira Eden

Salisbury - Elvira Eden, 96, died Thursday, May 3, 2018 in the Genesis in Salisbury, Maryland. Born in the Bronx, NY Elvira graduated from Jamaica Vocational High School in 1940. She served with the United States Army from 1944 until her honorable discharge in 1946. Elvira loved music, dancing and couldn't turn down a good book. She also enjoyed crafts such as latch hook and ceramics. Predeceased by her husband, William V. Eden who died in 1986 and daughter, Cynthia Stollery; surviving are her children, William Eden of Princeton, Christine Buklizak and husband Rich of Seaford, DE, Lisa Maniaci and husband Jack of Lanoka Harbor and son in law, Richard Stollery of Piscataway. She will also be missed by her five grandchildren, Cara Mastrolia, Amy Petrik, Samantha Stollery, Kurt Maniaci and Brett Maniaci and two great grandchildren, Michael and Lucia. Funeral services will begin on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 11AM in the Piscataway Funeral Home 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway NJ 08854 followed by burial in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Family and friends may gather in the funeral home beginning at 9AM on Friday.
