Obituary of Damian Joseph Cardone

Damian Joseph Cardone, 46, died Thursday May 17, 2018 in West Hazleton, PA. Born in Ridgewood, NJ, Damian grew up in Piscataway Township and resided in Scranton PA and Glenwood Springs, CO. At a young age, Damian loved music. He participated in the Piscataway Superchief High School Marching Band and enjoyed playing the guitar and percussion. He also enjoyed cooking and flying. Damian worked as a sous chef in Tavern on the Green in New York City and Sopris Resturant in Greenwood Springs, CO. and most recently was in the trucking business. Surviving are his son, Trevor Carron of Toms River; parents, Joseph and Justine Cardone of Pisctaway and sister, Adria Long her husband, Brian and their daughter Brynn of Bloomsbury. He will also be missed by his cousins, Daryle, Kate and Gianna Cardone and Emma Saunders as well as his aunts, uncles and extended family and friends. Funeral services will begin on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 9:30AM in the Piscataway Funeral Home 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway NJ 08854 followed by a funeral mass in St. Frances Cabrini at 10:30AM. Cremation will follow privately. Family and friends may gather on Thursday from 4-7 in the funeral home.
