Obituary of Kathleen McLaughlin

Kathleen Kraus McLaughlin died on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at her home due to natural causes. Born in Plainfield NJ, to the late Ruth and Louis Kraus, Kathy had resided in South Plainfield for many years before recently settling to Fort Mill South Carolina in 2015. She had been employed by the Van Heusen corporate office in Bridgewater as a Payroll and Human Resources Administrator until 2004. Kathy enjoyed doing crafts, had a love for sports, especially the Yankees, and a fondness for flowers, birds and dogs. After retirement, most of her love was spent on her three granddaughters and enjoying time with them. Kathy will be missed and remembered for the loving and caring woman she was. Predeceased by a sister, Judy Kraus, surviving are her husband, Michael, two sons; Michael and his wife Samantha of Levittown, PA., and Brian and his wife Patricia of Fort Mill, SC., sisters, Linda Kraus of Whiting, NJ, Carolyn Brown and her husband Charlie of Whiting, NJ and a brother, Alan Kraus and his wife Kim of Millsboro, DE, and three beloved granddaughters; Megan, Katie and Brianna McLaughlin. Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 10:00 am in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Iselin, NJ. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 4-8 pm
