Obituary of Mary Ellen Douras

Mary Ellen Douras South Plainfield, NJ - Mary Ellen (Malina) Douras, 52, entered into eternal rest with her loving and supportive family by her side on Friday, September 18, 2009 at Haven Hospice located within JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Rahway, Mary Ellen has been a lifelong resident of South Plainfield. Mary Ellen was most recently a teachers aide for the South Plainfield School District. She was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield and was a cherished wife and mother. She leaves behind her husband Tony and her three daughters all of South Plainfield; Jenee, Dina and Alexa, and by her brother David Malina and his wife Kimberly of Frenchtown. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2009 beginning 9:15AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery located in Scotch Plains. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Monday from 8:45 AM until the service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Douras Children's College Fund, C/O McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, would be appreciated.
