Mary "May" Addesa
South Plainfield - Mary E. "May" (Karkowski) Addesa, 85, died on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the Genesis Eldercare at the Woodlands in Plainfield.
Born and raised in Lopez, Pennsylvania, May has resided in South Plainfield for 50 years.
She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield.
May is pre-deceased by her husband Frank who died in 2003 and by a brother John.
Surviving are her 2 brothers; Robert Karkowski of Annapolis, Maryland and Leo Karkowski of Aloha, Oregon, 2 nieces; Kathy McKinley of Glenmore, Pennsylvania and Carolyn Gryski of Elmira, New York. Also surviving are her 2 dear friends; Tina and Anthony Barulli of South Plainfield.
Relatives and friends will be gathering in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals at 11:45 AM on Friday, May 22, 2009 followed by a 12:45 PM blessing in the funeral home.
Entombment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum
