Obituary of Theresa K. Binder

Theresa K. Binder South Plainfield - Theresa K. (Murphy) Binder, 68, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Newark, She had resided in Rahway before settling to South Plainfield in 1971. Theresa had been employed by NJ Bell as a service representative and later for the South Plainfield Board of Education for 20 years as a Teachers Assistant for pre school special needs children prior to her retirement in 2001. She enjoyed spending time with her family at the Jersey Shore and trips to Atlantic City. Her twin brother, Lawrence Murphy and her parents, Arthur & Eunice Murphy are predeceased. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Herbert. Her son, Michael and his fiancé Lara. Her two sisters, Virginia Romano and her husband Patrick and Kathryn Sutton and her husband, Allen. A brother, Thomas Murphy and his wife, Lynn and 15 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass in Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield, NJ. Family & Friends may attend the visitation hours on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
