Obituary of Marjorie A. Medici

Marjorie A. Medici Jackson - Marjorie A. Medici (Johnson), 83, died on Friday, April 13, 2007 at Robert Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick. Born in Rahway, Mrs. Medici was raised in Elizabeth before moving to South Plainfield where she resided for 45 years before moving to Jackson 4 years ago. Along with her husband, Mario, Marjorie was co-owner of MEDICI'S in South Plainfield, where the two worked sided by side from 1964 until her retirement in 1988. An avid golfer, Marge was a former member of the Metuchen Country Club in Metuchen and for the past 4 years she was an active member of the Westlake Country Club in Jackson. Marge was also a former member of the JFK Woman's Auxiliary at JFK Medical Center in Edison for 10 years. In addition to her husband of 49 years, Mrs. Medici is survived by her 2 sons; Mark of Rockaway and Michael and his wife Jeananne of Howell. Also surviving are her 5 grandchildren; Michael, Dawn, Kaleigh, David and Brandon. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 11:30 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield Interment will follow in Clover Leaf Park Cemetery, Woodbridge. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
