Obituary of James J. DeFazio

James J. DeFazio Dunellen - James J. DeFazio, 89, died on Thursday, July 16, 2009 in the Haven Hospice at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison. Born & raised in Archbald, PA, Jim had resided in Raritan and North Plainfield before settling to Dunellen 45 years ago. He served in the US Army and is a life member of the Middlesex American Legion Post # 306. Jim had worked as a private chauffeur for many years prior to his retirement. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Rose (Clark) DeFazio and his three children, Jerome, Diane and Roy. Also surviving are three sisters, a brother, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 11:30 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Interment will follow in Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway. Family and friend are invited to attend the visitation hours on Monday, July 20, 2009 beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:30 AM.
