Elizabeth J. Cesaro South Plainfield-- Elizabeth J. "Betty" Cesaro, 77, died on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at The Woodlands Genesis Eldercare Network in Plainfield. Born in the Bronx, New York, she had resided in Newark & Irvington before moving to South Plainfield in 1969. Betty had been employed as a Asst. office manager for R & C Auto Body in South Plainfield for 11 years before retiring in 1998. Previously Mrs. Cesaro has been employed as a Hostess for the former Jacques Restaurant in South Plainfield. A longtime and well known resident of the charming East Crescent neighborhood, Betty was a communicant of Our Lady of Czestochowa R.C. Church in South Plainfield, Mrs. Cesaro was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and was one of the cooks for the church's Feast of St. Anthony. She was also a member of AARP. She is pre-deceased by 2 sisters Ann Kassay and Joan. Surviving are her daughter, Lisa Bayous and her husband Michael of South Plainfield, 2 sons: Richard C. Cesaro: Ventura, Calif. & Robert J. Cesaro and his wife Shauna of Lake Oswego, Oregon, 1 sister Helen Cook of Lakewood, 2 Grandchildren, Lynn & Heather Cesaro, and one Great Grandson, Tyler Palmero. Also surviving are the dearest of friends and caretakers; Greg and Brenda Hurtkay, Kelley, Matthew, and Katrina Hurtkay, Anita Patel, and Mariann Robert. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2008 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Donations can be made to the JFK Haven Hospice, C/O JFK Medical Center, 65 James St., Edison, NJ 08818
