Rose M. Falcone Cape May - Rose M. ( Scaiella ) Falcone, 82, died on Monday, January 12, 2009 at home. Born in Newark, Rose had resided in South Plainfield for 46 years before settling to Cape May with her late Husband, Joe, in 1995. A stay at home mother, of eight children, Rose had also worked in the assembly department for Lancome in Piscataway. Rose was a great mother who loved to cook for her family and friends. She also enjoyed going to casinos and playing cards. Her husband, Joe died in 2003. She is also predeceased by her sisters, Carmella & Adele and her brothers, Louis & James. Surviving are her four daughters, Jennie Joyce Giles (DeWitt) of South Plainfield, Margaret Celentano (John) of South Carolina, Patricia Donatelli (David) of Somerset & Laura Doherty (Robert) of Toms River. Her four sons, Joseph A. of Florida, Angelo (Dee) of Toms River, Gerard (Lynda) of Lawrencville & Anthony Falcone (Jacqueline) of Howell. Also surviving are her sixteen grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many extended family members and friends. Funeral services will begin on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 9:15AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080, followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass in Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation (www.diabetes.org) American Heart Association (www.americanheart.org) or to the American Stroke Foundation (www.americanstroke.org) .
