Janice L. Raisch

South Plainfield, NJ - Janice L. (Faas) Raisch, 77, died on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the Orchards at Bartley Assisted Living in Jackson, NJ. Born in Newark, she graduated from East Orange High School and lived in Rahway until marrying her late husband Robert, where she then moved to South Plainfield.

As a homemaker, Janice was an avid reader and loved cats, especially her Siamese Cats and she enjoyed politics and ceramics. She was a former member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in South Plainfield.

She is predeceased by her husband Robert in March and by her brother Warren.

Janice is survived by her sons; Robert Raisch Jr. and his wife Sandra along with their child Dylan Robert of Brick and David Raisch and his wife Barbara of Helmetta.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008 beginning 10:30 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield, NJ 07080.

Interment will follow in the Graceland Memorial Park located in Kenilworth.

Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, September 21, 2008 from 2-5 PM.
