South Plainfield - Mary (Pellegrino) Gonzalez, 99, died on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at home in South Plainfield.
Born in New York City she has resided in South Plainfield for over 85 years.
Mrs. Gonzalez was a seamstress for over 20 years with the former Lena Dress shop in Plainfield retiring over 30 years ago.
She is predeceased by her husband Richard Gonzalez, her sisters Ann Boccia and Virginia Ashmead and her brothers Joseph, Mikey, John, Frank and James Pellegrino.
Surviving is her daughter Carmen Listorti of South Plainfield, her 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 10:45 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080
Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010 from 2-4 &7-9 PM in the funeral home.
