Loving Mother & Grandmother

Monroe Township, NJ - Gertrude "Trudy" Reinalter, 77, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at the Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice in Edison.

Born on April 12, 1931 in Austria, she came to the United States in 1957 and settled in White Plains, NY where she dedicated herself to raising her daughter. Trudy moved to Monroe Township in 2000.

Trudy was known as a kind, sweet and gentle lady by all those that knew her. Even faced with her share of obstacles, she was able to persevere. Her hobbies included knitting, shopping and learning foreign languages. She loved being with her grandchildren the best.

Trudy is survived by her loving daughter Denise Spinella and her husband Anthony along with her cherished grandchildren Joseph and Briana all of South Plainfield. Also surviving are her two brothers along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2008 beginning 11:00 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.

Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery located in South Plainfield.

Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, September 4, 2008 from 7-8 PM and on Friday, September 5, 2007 from 10:00 AM until service time
