Anna F. Keller Edison - Anna Florence Keller, 85, daughter of the late Alfred and Gussie (Benfield) Burge, died on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at home. Born in Centralia, PA on August 30, 1923, she began her married life in Aristes, PA before moving to South Plainfield in 1954 and relocated to Edison in 2005. Mrs. Keller and her husband are both Charter Members of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in South Plainfield. She was active in the church choir and Ruth Circle, taught Sunday School and directed the Junior Choir. She had worked as an aide at Pilgrim Covenant Nursery School in South Plainfield. She is survived by her husband, Ted and would have celebrated 62 years of marriage on December 26, 2008; her three sons, Donald and his wife Joyce of Oakhurst, Robert and his wife Cathie of South Plainfield and James and his wife Linda of Branchburg; her brother, Rev. Donald Burge of OH, seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Kristin Heyser, Timothy, Becky, Christopher, William and Marion and three great grandchildren, Danielle and Abby Keller and Alexander Heyser. There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be on Tuesday, December 23 at 11:00 AM at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in South Plainfield. Interment will be at a later date in the family plot in Aristes, PA. Funeral Services are under the direction of the McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Memorial Fund at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, 3145 Park Ave., South Plainfield. NJ 07080.
