Obituary of Dorothy A. DeWolf

Dorothy A. DeWolf Phillipsburg - Dorothy A. (Chabok) DeWolf, 77 died on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg. Born in Plainfield, Mrs. DeWolf was raised in Dunellen and lived in South Plainfield and Dunellen before moving to the Lopatcong Center in Phillipsburg a few years ago. For several years Dorothy volunteered with the Meals On Wheels program in the South Plainfield area. She was Past President of the South Plainfield VFW Memorial Post 6763 Women's Auxillary and she was also a member of the Lopatcong Center Red Hat Club. In addition, during her younger years, Dorothy worked for the former Mattel Company in South Plainfield for about 5 years She was a loving mother grandmother and great grandmother. She is pre-deceased by her daughter Deborak Sabik. Surviving is her son Charles DeWolf (Cyndi Adamczyk) of Belvidere her daughter Kathleen Sheedy and her husband Raymond of South Plainfield, her sister Barbara Schneeberger of North Carolina her brother Stephen Chabok and his wife Mary Ann of South Plainfield and her 11 grandchildren. Also surviving are 11 great grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 6-9 PM on Monday, January 4, 2010 in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield. Cremation services were held privately
