Edna H. Curtin
Plainfield - Edna ( Henel ) Curtin, 93, died on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at the Elms of Cranbury Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Born in Elizabeth, Mrs. Curtin had resided in Jamesburg for 30 years before moving to Monroe in 1984. She resided there until 2006 when she entered the care center.
For many years, Edna was employed as a clerk and bookkeeper for the NJ State Home For Boys in Monroe. She also had been a member of the Clearbrook Bowling League.
He husband, Lawrence died in 1984 and she is also predeceased by her daughter, Judy Lowry, her sister, Mildred Schultze and her brother, Albert Henel.
Surviving are her two daughters, Virginia DeCarlo of Cocco Beach, Fl. And Linda Curtin of Torrance, CA., her four sons, Lawrence of Clark, Edward of South Plainfield, Richard of Wilmington, NC. & John of Forks twp., PA. and her sister, Dorothy Ingeholm of Eugene, OR.
Also surviving are her 17 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield.
Cremation will be held privately.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 23, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. And again from 10:30 until the time of the service on Saturday
