Virginia "Ginny" Sturtz
Plainfield - Virginia "Ginny" H. Sturtz, 60, died on Sunday, September 14, 2008 after a long battle with cancer at the Center For Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains.
Born and raised in Jersey City, Ginny resided in Plainfield for the past 23 years.
An avid gardener who enjoyed animals, Ginny enjoyed architecture and visiting museums.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was known to never complain and always think of others first.
Ginny is pre-deceased by her parents Francis and Alice Sturtz..
She worked for Digital Solutions in the data entry department in Somerset.
Surviving is her husband Stewart N. Feinstein, her daughter Michelle Valente and her husband Sanguino of Highland Mills, New York, her brother Joseph Sturtz of Burlington, Vermont, 4 grandchildren; Frank, Vinny, Ida, and Kimberly, 2 nieces Arielle and Savannah and her nephew Douglas.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2008 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred RC Church, South Plainfield.
Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2008 from 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
