Robert J. Sadlowski Father & Brother Dunellen, NJ - Robert J. Sadlowski, 57, died on Friday, May 23, 2008 in the Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Elizabeth, Robert spent most of his life in Edison before settling to Dunellen eight years ago. Robert had been employed as a Union Electrician with the IBEW Local 675 which is now local 102 of Parsippany. He had worked for most of his career with Triola Electric. A very handy person, Robert enjoyed restoring automobiles, attending classic and muscle car shows gardening and woodworking. He was a fan of the New York Yankees and spent time coaching for his daughters softball teams. In addition, he enjoyed spending time with his companion, Cheryl Izzo, watching Nascar at Zupko's Tavern in Dunellen. Robert is predeceased by his mother and father Victoria and Matthew Sadlowski and his sister and brother Victoria and Richard Sadlowski. Surviving are his children; daughters Cheryl and Michelle Sadlowski. His companion, Cheryl Izzo, his former wife Judy Triola, his brother Casey Sadlowski and his beloved pet cat, Mandarin and his sisters, Regina Schaffer and Mary Ann Kovacs, A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway. Cremation is private. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2008 from 4-7 PM in the funeral in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080
