Obituary of Julia Wallace

Julia Wallace South Plainfield - Julia (Mironick) Wallace, 84, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2009 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Manhattan, Julia lived in various location throughout the country as she traveled along with her husband who served in the U.S. Navy. They settling to South Plainfield in 1958. Julia had been employed as bookkeeper for Mirons Furniture in Plainfield. Predeceased by her husband, James M. Wallace who died on August 21, 2008, she is also predeceased by two sisters, a brother and two step brothers. Surviving are her three children, Linda Seiz and her husband Tom of South Plainfield, Debra Bradshaw and Mike Murray of Middletown and James Wallace, Jr. of Rhode Island. Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren; Kristen, Eric & his wife Karen, Steven & his wife Sarah, Michael, Lauren, Stefanie, Martin and C.J and a great granddaughter, Layla. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass in Sacred Heart Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield. Family & Friends may attend the visitation hours on Wednesday, September 20, 2009 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM in the funeral home.
