Timothy Waugh
South Plainfield - Timothy Waugh, 49, died suddenly on Friday, July 9, 2010 at home.
Born in Summit, Tim was raised in Scotch Plains and lived in Westfield before moving to South Plainfield 10 years ago. An excellent wood craftsman, he worked for Fairmount Custom Crafters in Chatham and prior to that Tim worked for NJ Hardwoods in Plainfield. Mr.
Waugh was an avid bicyclist and was a member of the Morris Area Freewheelers Road Touring Club.
On a regular basis Tim enjoyed riding over 100 miles in one day. Tim also participated in the High Point to Cape May Bike Tour which covered nearly 300 miles. Tim was also a great admirer of the outdoors and he made time for hiking, kayaking, showshoeing, cross country skiing and camping.
He is predeceased by his father Robert.
Surviving are his mother Dorothy of Scotch Plains, his brother Robert Waugh and his wife Deon Vaughan currently of Suttons Bay, MI and his close cousin David Housel of South Plainfield.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ.
A Memorial Service celebrating Timothy's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday August 21, 2010 at the First Baptist Church, Westfield, NJ.
