Lorine M. Arre South Plainfield, NJ - Lorine M. (Mangina) Arre, 78, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. Born in Birmingham, Alabama to her late parents Ben and Frances (Caterinichia) Mangina, Lorine resided in Elizabeth, Newark and N. Arlington before settling to South Plainfield over ten years ago. Lorine retired as an Executive Secretary from the U.S. Postal Service in 2002 after thirty-eight years of service. She was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield and belonged to their Rosary Altar Society. She enjoyed spending her time with her family, and was an avid opera fan. Lorine recently attended her sixtieth class reunion for Battin High School, formerly of Elizabeth. She is predeceased by her husband Peter who passed away March 21, 1995, and by her siblings; Annie Nelson, Virginia Monticello, Margaret Sartino, Frances Lospinoso, Sarah Gombos, John, Joseph, Anthony, Frank and Philip Mangina. Lorine leaves behind her children; Patrick J. and his wife Marcella Arre of Basking Ridge, Mary Alice Arre of Colorado and Benjamin F. and his wife Sandra A. Arre of South Plainfield and her three grandchildren; Caroline M. Susan A. and Peter J. Arre. She also leaves behind her siblings; Cary Schaffran, Mary DeStafano, Lucille MacInode and Ben Mangina, and by many nieces , nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 7, 2009 beginning 9:15 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitation will take place in the funeral home on Saturday, December 5, 2009 from 5-8 PM and on Sunday, December 6, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
