Obituary of Esther Dressler

Esther Dressler South Plainfield - Esther (Greco) Dressler, 89, died peacefully on Monday, January 24, 2011 at Care One at the Highlands in Edison. Born and raised in Newark, Esther lived in Belleville before settling in Toms River. Mrs. Dressler worked as a secretary for PSE&G in Newark for several years and while residing in Toms River she was a member of the Toms River Italian American Club. She is predeceased by her husband Edwin Dressler, her parents; Carmine and Gemma Greco and by 2 brothers; Frank and Alfonse Greco. Surviving are her 3 sons; Paul and his wife Diane of Branchburg, Carmine and his wife Vera of South Plainfield and Edward and his wife Maureen of Toms River, her sister Eleanor Califri of Brick and by her grandchildren; Anne, Elizabeth, Allison, Mark, Daria and Daniel Dressler. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 9:00 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield followed by a 10 :00 AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church Piscataway. Cremation services will be held privately. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 28, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
