Catherine "Lee" Cosma South Plainfield, NJ - Catherine "Lee" (Terone) Cosma, 87, died on Friday, October 16, 2009 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Lee spent most of her life in Ozone Park, Queens, but most recently five years in South Plainfield and two years at Brandywine Senior Living in Bridgewater. Lee retired in 1985 from E A B Bank located in New York City where she worked in securities and filing. She devoted her life as a homemaker caring for her family and she enjoyed crocheting, sewing and was an avid bingo player. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph who died in 1963. Lee leaves behind her children; Joseph Cosma and his wife Elise and Andrea Skandalis and her husband John of Bedminster. She will be missed by her grandchildren Alex, Jason and Nicole and by her longtime companion of thirty-eight years, Pat Caravana. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 beginning 10:00 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by burial in the St. Charles Cemetery located in Farmingdale, NY. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday, October 19, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the service time. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer''s Association, Northern NJ Chapter, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
