Helen Fusco
Green Brook, NJ - Helen (Sardo) Fusco, 93, died on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Helen moved to New Jersey in 2008.
After attending school to become a seamstress, Helen worked for local warehouses in the Brooklyn area. She spent a lot of her time caring for her family as a homemaker. She enjoyed ballroom dancing with her husband, where she danced at the Roseland Ballroom at least three times a week.
She was predeceased by her husband Francis "Frank" in 2008, her daughter Maria Falsetta in 2010 and by three siblings.
Helen leaves behind her grandchildren; Steven Livengood and his fiance Esther Pearl of Florida, Laurel Tobin and her husband Wayne of South Plainfield and Diane Vodarsik also of South Plainfield.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2011 beginning 10:30 AM in the Chapel of Green-Wood Cemetery located in Brooklyn, NY.
Funeral services are under the direction of McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
