Obituary of John M. Wilson

John M. Wilson Sanford, North Carolina - John M. Wilson, 95, died on Friday, September 5, 2008 at the University Of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. John was born in Morrisville, PA, and lived in Springfield, South Plainfield and Largo, Florida before settling in Sanford, North Carolina in 1998. He retired as millwirght in 1978 after working for Suckno Bros. in South Plainfield. A member of the N.J. State First Aid Council, John was a Charter and Life Member of the Springfield First Aid Squad and had served as President and Captain. He was a member of the South Plainfield Rescue Squad where he also served as President and Captain. In addition, Mr. Wilson was a Charter Member of the South Plainfield B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge # 2298 and he enjoyed to fish. He is pre-deceased by his wife Marian and by his son John M. Jr. Surviving are his 3 children; Judith M. Kreader and her husband Kenneth of Sanford, N.C., Nancy Flannery of South Plainfield, and David and his wife Kathleen of Audubon, N.J. 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield. Interment services are private
