South Plainfield - Nicholas J. Bruno, 77 ,died suddenly on Friday, January 11, 2008 at his home.
Born in Scotch Plains, Nick has been a resident of South Plainfield for the past 45 years.
A veteran of the United States Army, Nick served during the Korean Conflict before being honorably discharged.
Initially employed as a Salesman, he later owned and operated the former Lakeside Tavern in South Plainfield.
Surviving are his wife, Joanne, his two sons, David & Michael and his daughter, Sharon. Also surviving are his three brothers, Sam, Michael & Joseph and two grandchildren.
Family and friend are invited to attend the services and visitation from 7-9 PM Monday January 14, 2008 in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ.
Cremation and committal services will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
