Obituary of Anna Lammers

Anna Lammers North Plainfield - Anna Lammers, 83, died on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at home. Born in Plainfield, Mrs. Lammers has resided in North Plainfield for the past 40 years. She worked as a legal secretary for nearly 40 years for Mongello and Schillaba Attorneys at Law in South Plainfield and later in Edison. In addition, Anna also worked at Holy Cross Nursey School in North Plainfield. An avid reader, Mrs. Lammers enjoyed to sew and shop. She was a wonderful loving and caring mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family. She is pre-deceased by her husband William, her son Richard and by 1 brother and 1 sister. Surviving are her daughter Ruth Merendino and her husband Luke of North Plainfield, 2 sisters; Rosemary McClary of Brick and Francis Frusco of Texas and her 5 grandchildren; Michael, Sara, Christopher, Billy and Samantha Merendino. Also surviving is her special cousin Mary Sorbo of North Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 from 6-9 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield. Cremation services will be held privately.
