Garrett " Gary" S. Goldsack South Plainfield, NJ - Garrett "Gary" S. Goldsack, 50, died suddenly on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 in Scotch Plains. Born in Plainfield, he grew up in South Plainfield. Gary resided in Avenel for a short time and Toms River for twenty years before returning back to South Plainfield. For over thirty years, Gary owned and operated his landscaping businesses. In addition, he also drove oil & gas trucks for various local Central Jersey companies. Gary had a love for baseball. He was a dedicated Yankees Fan and coached, managed and even served as president of the Toms River East Little League. He enjoyed plants, woodworking and being a "jack of all trades." Predeceased by his mother, Joan (Stevens) Goldsack, Gary is survived by his children; Garrett II and his wife Jennifer of Branchburg, Kristen Goldsack of Toms River, Kimberly Tsucalas and her husband Matthew of Island Heights, his father, Robert of Nashua, NH, his grandson Matthew Tsucalas II and by his siblings; Robert and his wife, Diana, Wendy and her husband George Robel, Scott and his wife Kris, Karen and her husband Mark LeFebrye, Kimberly and her husband Kevin O'Neill, Doug and his wife Justine, Lori and her husband Larry Viola and Keith and his wife Sara. He also leaves behind, the brother he chose, Tim Curran, eighteen nieces and nephews and his dog, Hershey. Funeral services will be held 9:30 AM on Monday, December 8, 2008 in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:30 AM funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart RC Church also in South Plainfield. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 7, 2008 from 4-7 PM in the funeral home.
