Diane Hedden Loving Mother and Grandmother Hamilton - Diane Hedden, 50, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton surrounded by her family. Born in Morristown, Diane was raised in South Plainfield, and lived in Highland Park for 20 years before moving to Hamilton 5 years ago. She was employed by the Boro of Highland Park as the Assistant to the Director of the towns Recreation Department for nearly 10 years. An avid gardener, Diane loved crafts and enjoyed crocheting. Surviving are 2 children; Annmarie and William Sabovick Jr. and her grandson Tyler Nicholas Sabovick Stevens all of Edison, her mother Patricia Coddington and her husband Albert of Camden, Maine, her father John J. Hedden and his wife Marian of Toms River, 3 sisters; Terri Christ and her husband John of South Plainfield, Kelly Reddington of Hamilton, and Debra Parenty and her husband Jeffrey of Wanamassa, NJ, 4 brothers; John of Highland Park, Frederick and his wife Arlene of East Port, Maine, James and his wife Erika of Scotch Plains, Daniel and his wife Alisha of South Plainfield. Also surviving is a half brother Edward Hedden of Freehold, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 207 at 11:15 AM in the McCriskin Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
