Obituary of Philomena Izzo

Philomena Izzo Piscataway - Philomena (Fiore) Izzo, 90, died on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. Born in New York, Fay was raised in Brooklyn and lived in Scotch Plains and North Plainfield before settling in Piscataway in 1966. A former member of the St. Anthony Society, Fay was a longtime member of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church in Piscataway. She was also member of Our Lady of Fatima Seniors as wells as the Plainfield Senior Citizens. She is pre-deceased by her husband Jerry who died in 1978, a brother Dominick Fiore, her sister Lucy Ingrassia, and by her son-in-law Stuart Chalkey. Surviving are her 2 daughters; Gerry Chalkley of Piscataway and Mary Ann Ronzo and her husband Lou of South Plainfield, her brother Paul Votinelli of Florida, and by her granddaughter Jennifer Ronzo. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 9:30 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield followed by a 10:30 AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Piscataway. Interment will follow in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
