Della A. Milam Edison - Della A. (Kratz) Milam, 78, died on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Norwood Terrace Care Center in Plainfield. Born in Jersey City, Della had resided in South Plainfield for most of her life before settling to Edison. A homemaker for most of her life, Della was an excellent cook and was known for her cookies. She had also been employed part time, for Meile's Flower Shop in Iselin. Her hobbies included cooking, floral arranging, doing crafts and crocheting. She is also a former member of the South Plainfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #6763 Ladies Auxiliary. Her husband, Thurman and her brother, John F. Kratz have both predeceased her. Surviving are her three daughters, Charlotte Lubrano, Maria Chastain & her husband, Tim, Virginia Stonehocker and her husband, Terry, her three sons, Joseph G. Muglia & his wife Mary Pat, George Muglia & Victor Muglia & his wife Joanne and her two sisters, Catherine Demico and Virginia Campbell. Also surviving are her 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 16, 2007 at 12:00 noon in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. Family and friends are invited to gather at 10:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home . In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Norwood Terrace Care Center, 40-44 Norwood Avenue, Plainfield, NJ 07060.
