South Plainfield, NJ - Mildred (Lacey) Summer, 87, died on April 28, 2008 at Arista Care at Cedar Oaks located in South Plainfield.

Born in Newark, Mildred was raised in Hillside and lived in Edison for thirty-five years before settling to Arista Care Nursing Home.

She is predeceased by her husband Benjamin Summer in 1977.

Mildred leaves behind her daughters and son-in-law Gail and Michael Zambeck and Linda Gronski along with eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2008 beginning 11:00 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.

Cremation will be private.

Relatives and friends may attend the visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, May 1, 2008 from 10:00 AM until service time.
