Nancy Bumback

Jackson - Nancy (Strack) Bumback, 65, died suddenly on Monday, March 5, 2007 at Centra State Hospital in Freehold.

Born and raised in New Brunswick, Nancy resided in Piscataway where she graduated from Piscataway High School and then lived in Dunellen for many years, before settling to Jackson, eight years ago.

Employed by Lockheed in Watchung in the assembly department for 19 years, before their closing. She later worked at Universal Labs in North Brunswick, as a receptionist, before taking an early retirement to lovingly care for her ill husband, Joe.

Nancy was an avid bowler who bowled in numerous leagues over the years at Manville Lanes. She also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City.

Her beloved husband, Joseph Bumback, died on May 2, 2006.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Kranowski of Jackson, her son, Tim Freeman and his wife Stacy of Upstate New York, her sister, Carol Nepton and her husband, Roger of Piscataway and her brother, Richard Strack and his wife Stacie of Middlesex. Also surviving are her four grandchildren, Brianna, Joelle, Morgan and Gavin.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March, 9, 2007 at 8:00 PM in the McCriskin Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, New Jersey.

Cremation will be private.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
