Obituary of Elizabeth "Betty" Golden

Elizabeth "Betty" Kuebler Golden South Plainfield - Elizabeth " Betty" Kuebler Golden, 68, passed away on Friday morning, July 22, 2011 after a brief illness at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Newark, she has resided in South Plainfield since 1973. Betty had earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kean college in 1988 and had been a registered nurse since 1981, working at Overlook Hospital from 1981 till 2009. She was a active volunteer for Nami Middlesex (Formerly CCCPA) since 1983 serving as President, Treasure and most recently, as the Vice President on the Board of Trustees. In addition, she was a communicant of Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church in South Plainfield. Betty is predecease by her husband, Donald who died in 1975. Surviving are two children; Debra Warner and her husband Brian and Donald Golden, a grand daughter; Ashley Elizabeth and siblings; Robert Kuebler and Florence Whitney. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 9:30 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield NJ followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia Visitation is Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 4-7 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to the Elizabeth Golden Trust, C/O 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
