South Plainfield - Joyce Przewoznik, 61, died suddenly on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Plainfield, Joyce was a lifelong resident of South Plainfield Borough. She is a former embroiderer for AKA, INC. in South Plainfield. Joyce was very active in the Polish National Home. She enjoyed cooking listening to her music and driving. Joyce will always be remembered for her sense of humor and her natural caring disposition. Predeceased by her husband who died in 1985, Richard and father, Frank Przewoznik, surviving are her daughter, Danielle Probst and fiancé John Shalginewicz of Coral Springs FL, grandchildren; Christopher Chase of South Plainfield and Elizabeth Rivera of Coral Springs FL, mother, Agnes (Sofield) Przewoznik of South Plainfield, four sisters; Carol Laico and husband John of Colonia, Eileen King and husband Michael of Montville, Fran Przewoznik and husband Timothy Epps of Middlesex and Barbara Carzis of Florida and brother Frank A. Przewoznik of Ohio. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 8:30PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080. Family and friends may attend visitation on Tuesday beginning at 6PM until service time. Cremation will follow privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Przewoznik Family.
