Claudine Blutfield

South Plainfield, NJ - Claudine (Miho) Blutfield, 88 died on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in France, Claudine moved to the Bronx in 1946 then to South Plainfield, where she has lived since 1949.

She was an avid animal lover and was very active in the ASPCA. Claudine enjoyed gardening and knitting and her favorite time was spent with her family during the holidays.

Claudine is predeceased by her husband Jules Blutfield, who died on October 5, 2010. She is survived by her three children, Carole (Tom) of Ewing, Joel (Vicki) of Tucson, AZ., Daniel (Lourdes) of Old Bridge and her five grandchildren. She also leaves behind two sisters, Michelle Avon and Suzanne Ferrandi, both of France,

Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 8, 2011 beginning at 11:00 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.

Burial will be at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery located in Wrightstown, NJ immediately following the service.

Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 7-9 PM and on Friday from 10:30 AM until the service time.
