Obituary of Cheryl Anne Resch

Cheryl Anne Resch Middlesex Resident * Age: 57 Middlesex, NJ - Cheryl Anne Resch, 57, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2016 at her home with her loving and supportive family at her side. Born and raised in Newark to her late parents Vincent and Anne (Cocuzza) Mucci, she moved to Middlesex in 1992. Cheryl was employed by the Piscataway Township schools as a clerk for the Office of Community Education and a member of the Piscataway Township Education Association, serving as the Recording Secretary of their Executive Board. She was awarded the title of Educational Support Professional for Knollwood Elementary School. Cheryl also worked at New York Air and Continental Airlines as a customer service supervisor for 10 years. She loved spending time with her children and was very active with the Middlesex Pop Warner Cheerleading, the Middlesex Girl Scouts and she enjoyed bowling. She loved to coupon and also taught CCD at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church. Cheryl was always willing to assist others and always put everyone and their needs before her own. Cheryl is survived by her husband Paul and three daughters; Erica, Peyton and Haley all of Middlesex. She also leaves behind her siblings; Ralph Mucci of Belleville, Vince Mucci of Springfield and Marisa Curran and her husband Rich of Toms River and many extended family and friends. Visitation will be held in Middlesex Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9pm and on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 9:45 am until 10:15 am. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 10:15 am followed by an 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex. At the request of the family, cremation will be held private. In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be sent to a charity of your choice.
